Jean hem

Have you heard that you can only sew a jeans hem on an industrial sewing machine?  When I opened my first shop I only had domestic sewing machines, and I had some very kind people come in and tell me I had to have industrial sewing machines.  I operated for many years without one.  In fact we did the jeans hems for some of the major jean shops on the domestic sewing machines.
