Pockets need to be opened in Jackets
Most manufacturers sew pockets up during manufacture. If you purchase a lined jacket and the pockets are closed, try pushing your little finger into the side of the pocket at the opening. If you can get your little finger in, then it is more than likely only sewn closed. Use a quick unpick, and carefully release the stitches. I had a gentleman ask me to put pockets in his favorite suit jacket. He said I don’t care how much it costs. I said what if it cost around $100.00, and he said he would pay that. So I took the quick unpick, and released the stitches that were holding the pockets closed. ”I laughed and said “no charge”. He was so mad, because he had worn the jacket for 4 years.
